Explorations V Children’s Museum hosts H2O Spring Splash on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 10am to 3pm.
The water-themed festival will feature special presentations by award winning author, Janeen Mason, author of Ocean Commotion: Caught in the Currents, Animal Ambassadors from the Florida Aquarium and the WaterVentures Mobile Learning Lab.
A bounce house and creation stations will be located in nearby Munn Park, where children can use their imagination in creating make and take keepsakes.
Turtle Travels, an exhibit focusing on the life and challenges of turtles, sponsored by visitcentralflorida.org., is a featured exhibit in the museum. The museum’s many other interactive exhibits can also be explored during the event.
Admission for H2O Spring Splash is $5 per person. All activities are included with admission while supplies last.
The festival is held in conjunction with the national “Week of the Young Child” and the statewide “Children’s Week,” bringing attention to the needs of young children and their families.
H2O Spring Splash is sponsored by Lakeland Electric as a Partner Sponsor and in part by the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program.
