Architectural Tour

Join the Polk County History Center on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11am for an architectural tour. Learn about the neoclassical architecture, the construction of the building, and stories behind the iconic Old Polk County Courthouse.

Festival of Wreaths

The colorful and unique wreaths fill the halls of the History Center through Dec. 13. The wreaths, decorated and donated by local businesses, individuals and organizations, are available for purchase through an online silent auction with proceeds benefiting History Center programming. Bids are accepted online until 5pm, Dec 12 at www.polkhistorycenter.org.

Museum Store Sunday

Sunday, December 1st is Museum Store Sunday. Shop Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College from 1-5pm. Get free admission after 4pm at Bok Tower Gardens to shop from 4-7pm.
