Florida in the Era of the Revolution

A Platform Art Community Forum program featuring Dr. James M. Denham, Historian and Director Lawton Chiles Center for History at Florida Southern College.   Platform Art has been commissioned to produce a monument in celebration of the founding of the nation.  The Community Forum series is an informative program introducing the historical events leading to the American Revolution and signing of the Declaration of Independence, 1776.   Dr. Denham presents our great state of Florida within the context of the seminal events in the decade of the Revolution, including the division of the State of Florida, and the influences and alliances of Spain, France and the Seminole Tribe.
