The Polk Arts & Cultural Alliance has a call for artists for TWO opportunities.
The Polk Arts & Cultural Alliance is seeking to commission an artist to create the cover image for the 2026 Polk Arts Guide. This publication will serve as a resource for visitors and new residents of Polk County as it will feature an inclusive list of all arts and cultural entities within Polk County. You can see the 2025 Polk Arts Guide HERE. Specific commission details below.
Image Specifications: A completed image for the cover of a publication.
Image Size: The image size should be 5”wide x 11”tall – viewable in portrait format.
Image Resolution: 300 ppi
Additional Information:
• Title text will also appear on the cover of the Polk Arts Guide.
• Artists may create a new work for this commission OR they may submit works from their existing portfolios.
• Artists MAY submit up to two pieces for consideration.
Deadline: May 15, 2026
Theme: There is no theme, but the content of the publication is information concerning the arts and cultural offerings of Polk County, FL.
Residency Requirements: The artist must live within the boundaries of Polk County, FL.
Artist’s Commission: $1,000
Licensing Rights
Artists retain the rights and intellectual property of the selected cover image. PACA reserves the right to use the image to promote the Polk Arts Guide.

Artists MUST reside in Polk County!
The Polk Arts & Cultural Alliance is seeking to commission an artist to create centerpieces for the 2026 Hall of Fame Gala.
Centerpiece specifications: Artwork will be displayed on 8′ tables. Artwork needs to be 10″ in height or less for viewing purposes. We’re planning for 40 tables.
Mock-up of artwork with photos of front and side angle with dimensions need to be submitted by May 15.
Theme: There is no theme, but event features the Hall of Fame inductees and honors Arts and Culture individuals and organizations in Polk County.
Residency Requirements: The artist must live within the boundaries of Polk County, FL.
Artist’s Commission: Negotiable.
