This guided tour is offered at 6pm on second Tuesdays of each month from September-April. Take a stroll around the Lake Mirror promenade while delving into Lakeland’s History with LuAnn Mims, Special Collections Librarian, Lakeland Public Library.
You are cordially invited to delve into Lakeland’s history with Miss Serena Bailey (the first city librarian 1929-1959). Whilst strolling around the promenade of Lake Mirror you will be regaled with tales touting personable people, premier places and the astounding achievements of the city of Lakeland, Florida.
