Go Gatsby for a Cause

Night at the Museum
7:00pm, Saturday, May 20, 2017
Explorations V Children’s Museum

The Jazz Age. The Mad Decade. The Flapper Era. The Roaring Twenties. There are many names for this time period, but they all describe the same thing- FUN and lots of it- the real “Bee’s Knees.”  No writer describes this age of cultural enlightenment better than the iconic F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of “The Great Gatsby.” That’s why “The Great Gatsby” is the theme for Explorations V Children’s Museum’s annual adults-only event, Night at the Museum.  For only $75 a ticket, you and your date will turn back the clock to the gaiety, sounds, tastes, and sights of The Roaring Twenties while doing so for a great cause.

The funds raised at Night at The Museum will allow the museum to run camps, activities, and other community outreach programs. But don’t be fooled by the location; Shhhh, this is an evening for adults! Organized and run by their talented and committed Board Members, Night at The Museum provides the perfect date night for adults while supporting a worthy cause.

One example of the many programs the Children’s Museum runs is the Summer Camp. Serving children ages 4 through 12, Explorations V has two summer camps running from the beginning of June to the beginning of August. These camps aren’t just entertaining activities to keep the kids busy; they are educational, engaging and incorporate themes from Art, Science, Engineering, Technology, and much more. Each week has a different theme so the kids can fully delve into a topic, while still having enough variety for campers to be constantly engaged and challenged.

Don’t just take our word for it; stop by Monday through Saturday to see the magic that happens at Explorations V Children’s Museum!  We’d love to see you!
