The application process for fiscal year 2016-2017 arts, cultural and heritage event sponsorship is now open (covering events taking place October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017). The sponsorship application period closes on Thursday, April 28, 2016, and all completed applications must be received at the PCTSM office by 4:00 p.m. that day – (applications must be in hand and not just postmarked by that date). Any applications received after the deadline will be ineligible for consideration. This year, it is mandatory for organizations who apply, to attend one of the application workshops held by PCTSM and/or the Polk Arts Alliance. To assist applicants, PCTSM hosted two Tourist Development Council (TDC) Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee sponsorship application workshops in February. Polk Arts Alliance will host two workshops in March. Workshops cover the guidelines and process for completing a sponsorship application packet, best practices, as well as the timeline for the
