"Creative Youth" Exhibition

Polk Museum of Art proudly hosts the annual “Creative Youth” exhibition, which features works by high school students in the 15th Congressional District. The exhibition will be on view from April 12 through May 18 in the George W. Jenkins Student Gallery at the Museum.
The exhibition is organized by the Polk Museum of Art and the offices of U.S. Rep. Dennis Ross.
The artwork that receives the Congressional Award will travel to Washington, D.C., to be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol along with other winning works from districts throughout the nation. Award winners will be announced at the exhibition reception at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Museum. The event is free and open to the public.
The “Creative Youth” exhibition will feature 91 pieces of artwork selected from among 450 submissions. The chosen artworks were created by 82 student artists representing 17 schools in the congressional district.

This exhibition is sponsored by Joy and Mike Martin, Burnetti Children’s Foundation and the Law Offices of Burnetti P.A.
