Explorations V Children’s Museum, located at 109 North Kentucky Avenue in downtown Lakeland, will host a Cinco de Mayo/Hispanic Heritage celebration on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 10am to 1pm. The celebration will include scheduled activities such as a Spanish Puppet Show, musical performances, art, dance lessons for museum guests, a piñata game and other children’s games and food, all included with museum admission, which is $7 per person. Senior citizens are $3.50 and military/teachers with ID are also $3.50. Museum members and children under two are free.
The Explorations V Children’s Museum offers family memberships for $70. Explorations V Children’s Museum also offers summer camps, workshops, field trips, scout and after-school programs, birthday party plans, private rentals and a museum store.
