Children’s Museum Announces Scholastic Book Fair

Explorations V Children’s Museum, located at 109 North Kentucky Avenue in downtown Lakeland, has announced its Scholastic Spring Book Fair, to be held in the museum March 1 and March 3-8, 2014. The hours of the book fair are from 9am to 5:30 pm during the museum’s regular business hours.

There is no cost to shop at the book fair.

According to Scholastic, reading is the most important skill you can teach your child and it gets better with practice. Book fairs are an opportunity to expose children to books and make selections based on each child’s reading level.

Explorations V Children’s Museum, a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is located in downtown Lakeland in the historic S.H. KressBuilding. Three floors of mind stretching, kid-powered exhibits and programs provide a hands-on, fun-filled adventure in learning for children and their families. Hours are Monday – Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm. Admission is $7 per person. Senior citizens 65+ are $3.50. Teachers and military w/ID are $3.50. Children under two are free. Members of Explorations V Children’s Museum are also free. Memberships are available beginning at $70.
