Artists and authors, ages 13-18 from Lakeland-area schools have been invited to submit work. The theme for Sister Cities International’s 2022 Young Artists Showcase is:
“Generation Rescue: Sustainable Water for All”
In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, Sister Cities International (SCI) will adopt climate change as the overarching theme. SCI is proud to invite all its youth members to create submissions that highlight the importance of climate change and its impact on water resources.
- What does water sustainability mean to you?
- How has your community been affected by climate change and water disruption?
- How can you, as a future leader contribute to the solution?
Lakeland Sister Cities International (LSCI), a chapter of Sister Cities International, was formed in 1990. The mission of LSCI is to develop relationships with people and cities of similar interests to Lakeland from around the world.
