Children’s Museum Celebrates Dr Seuss Birthday on March 1

Explorations V Children’s Museum, located at 109 North Kentucky Avenue in downtown Lakeland, will host a Dr. Seuss Day on Saturday, March 1  from 10am until 1pm. The celebration will feature hands-on activities based on popular Dr. Seuss books. Activities are included with museum membership or admission, which is $7 per person, while supplies last.  Senior citizens are $3.50. Military and teachers with ID are also $3.50. Children under two and museum members are free. Museum visitors will be able to view Chagall for Children, an introduction to art through the works of Marc Chagall, prior to its grand opening on April 12, 2014. Donuts for Dads will also be held at 10am.

Explorations V Children’s Museum offers family memberships for $70 as well as weekly programming, Spring Break/Summer Camps, home school workshops, field trips, scout and after-school programs, birthday party plans, private rentals, tutoring and test prep and a museum store.
