Membership

You can support the Polk Arts & Cultural Alliance by joining today! Membership is open to any group or individual who wishes to promote arts and cultural opportunities in Polk County. See below for the various membership categories.

  • Non-Profit Arts and Cultural Organizations (Cultural Arts Council) Memberships
    This membership level is for nonprofit arts, cultural and heritage-related organizations that meet the criteria to serve on the Cultural Arts Council. The Cultural Arts Council is the standing arts and cultural industry advisory group to the designated Local Arts Agency
  • Education/Government Memberships
    This membership level is for educational institutions (both K-12 and postsecondary) who wish to join the Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance. Additionally, government agencies and/or municipalities are also welcome to participate in the alliance. Members at both of these levels may be eligible to serve on the Cultural Arts Council.
  • Artists/Creative Industry Memberships
    The Artrepreneur membership level is open to all artists who reside in Polk County and who work in any and all artistic mediums (visual arts, performing arts, musical arts, cinematic arts, culinary arts, fabric arts, fine-art craftsmanship, literary arts, etc.) Creative Industry members are businesses that engage in arts, cultural or heritage-related enterprise. These include printers, visual art galleries and framers, venues such as restaurants that engage performing artists, or businesses that engage in arts-related programs and activities that are not the primary mission for which they are organized.
  • Individual Memberships
    The Individual membership levels include three options: individual, senior (65+), and Friends of Polk Arts.
  • Corporate Sponsorships
    Corporate sponsorships allow the Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance to serve the various arts and cultural organizations in Polk County by providing funding and marketing resources to the respective organizations. Additionally, corporate sponsorship dollars provide funding for day-to-day operations of the Polk Arts and Cultural Alliance
